I have heard about Chicago for more than 25 years since my wife was born and grew up in the northern part of Chicago. It&#39;s amazing how you can contemplate a huge city not knowing the effort someone as Mr. William B. Ogden made to contribute to the development of it. It is great how the biographer, Harpter, can tell about the history of the 19th century in such a detail manner. I have been in Chicago only once with my family to visit my wife&#39;s relatives, and planning to go back to visit them again.
